How it works
- 01
Free survey
We measure every opening and check the structure, including lintels and bay loads. We talk through styles, glass, colours and locks, and note where you need escape windows, safety glass or trickle vents. If your existing windows have trickle vents, the new ones must have them too.
- 02
Written quotation
You get an itemised quote with a drawing or schedule for each window and door. Every window meets Part L, with a U-value of 1.4 W/m²K or better, or WER band B or above. No pressure to sign on the day.
- 03
Final check survey
Before anything is made, a final technical survey confirms every measurement. Your windows and doors are then made to order.
- 04
Installation day
We lay dust sheets, take out the old frames carefully, and fit the new ones level, plumb and square. Each frame is fixed into the wall and sealed inside and out.
- 05
Making good
We trim and seal inside, fit cills and trims outside, clean the glass and frames, and take the old frames and waste away.
- 06
Handover & certification
We show you how everything works and hand over the keys and care guide. The work is registered through a Competent Person Scheme or with building control, and you receive the Building Regulations compliance certificate.
How to get ready
- Take down curtains, blinds and poles near the windows being replaced.
- Move furniture and ornaments about a metre back from the windows.
- Clear a path from the front door and leave space outside for the frames.
- Tell us about any alarm sensors on the existing frames.
- Keep children and pets out of the rooms we’re working in.
- Let neighbours know if we’ll need shared access or parking.
